In order to pass the Colorado real estate examination, students will need at least a 75% on the National portion and a 71.5% or higher on the State portion.
Whether or not you think the Colorado real estate exam is hard depends on how hard much you've studied and how naturally the coursework comes to you. Most students find the exam to be challenging, and many take multiple attempts to pass. It is recommended to take Exam Prep ahead of time to increase your likelihood of passing on your first attempt.

The National portion of the real estate exam has an emphasis on property ownership, land use regulations, and understanding real estate contracts. The Colorado state portion has an emphasis on "governing the activities of the licensee" and Colorado Forms and contracts.

Colorado agents typically receive their results within a week, if not earlier. Some students receive their results on the same day that they took the test.
If you fail the Colorado exam, you can take it again. The price is slightly lower the second time.
