They have a great book if you study that it is well written. After I finished my class I passed my exam with psi the first time.
I had a great experience with the Academy and the instructor, Kent. I found the instruction to be engaging and enjoyable. Learning what has the reputation of being grueling was easier to retain due to the instructors technique. Academy is a very professional site and their staff is knowledgeable, yet down to earth and helpful.
This was a great experience. I chose the 4 hour evening classes for Property Management because of my schedule and it was broken up well. Our instructor has been in Real Estate in SC for decades and was a wealth of knowledge. Reviews are easy to follow. I plan to attend the 7 hour course soon to get my Property Manager In Charge certificate. I highly recommend the Academy for your Real Estate education.
I had a wonderful experience. Van Harden is an awesome professor, and I was lucky enough to have him for both Pre-Licensing & Advanced Principles. He goes over the material in depth to prepare you and gives real world examples because he's been doing it for so long. Our coworker also used Fortune for continuing education (with different professors) and had a great experience too. I would recommend this company to anyone.
I attended a course taught by Kent and felt he was very knowledgeable! He shared real examples and took our questions in stride! He was able to share more information than just what we needed to know to pass the exam! He is a wonderful asset to the Academy!
The Management class is great!! Very informative. My instructor, Ray is very knowledgeable and answers any questions the class has. Umar always answers my questions quickly and is very helpful!! Thank You for offering this class online!! This is extremely convenient. I appreciate you all!!
Got more questions about our SC Real Estate Broker course? We’ve got answers.
Per SCREC requirements, you need to be at least 21 years old to obtain an SC Real Estate Broker license.
You’ll need a high school diploma, GED, or the educational equivalent to qualify for the SC Real Estate Broker Course. You must also have three years of “active” experience as a real estate salesperson within the last five years, before attempting to qualify for a broker license.
SCREC recognizes many of your qualifications as a non-resident licensee in another jurisdiction. However, you will still need to pass the South Carolina portion of the real estate examination. If you’re applying as a broker, you’ll also need to have three years of active, licensed sales experience. You must also have been licensed within 6 months of your SC application. Alongside your application for the SC real estate examination, you will need to submit certification(s) of licensure from any jurisdiction where you’ve held a license in the last five years.
Courses are offered in-person, online, and on-demand. Some students prefer to learn in person, with peers and a qualified instructor in the room. Other students prefer to learn via scheduled, digital classes taught by instructors streaming in real time online. We also offer on-demand lessons for students who need more flexibility, allowing you to learn during more convenient hours of your day.
All coursework is designed to help you pass your South Carolina licensing exam and prepare you for a career in real estate brokerage. Topics include local government regulations and agency relationships. Courses are inspired by real-life scenarios you’ll face as a real estate broker in South Carolina.
