The exam is composed of 80 general points with a time limit of 150 minutes and 40 state points with a time limit of 90 minutes. The Massachusetts Real Estate Board will determine if the applicant for licensure possessess good moral character at the time of application. Due to this review by the RE Board, it is difficult to give a definitive list of criminal acts that would preclude someone from getting a license. RE Board staff strongly suggests students review RE Board's Policy and Guidelines on Good Moral Character.
