What is on the South Carolina real estate salesperson exam?
The SC real estate salesperson exam, administered by PSI Services, has 120 questions split into two portions: 80 National questions (agency, contracts, finance, valuation, fair housing, ethics) and 40 State questions (SC license law, SCREC regulations, state-specific forms). You have 4 hours to complete both portions.
How is the SC PSI real estate exam scored?
You must pass both portions of the PSI exam separately. The passing score is 75% on the National portion (60 correct out of 80) and 70% on the State portion (28 correct out of 40). If you fail one portion, you only need to retake that portion, not the whole exam.
How many times can I take the SC real estate exam?
PSI allows unlimited retakes of the SC real estate salesperson exam. Each attempt requires a new exam fee (approximately $63).
